First: Respect Bending Limits
Every oil transfer hose has a specific bending radius. Always keep the hose within its minimum bending radius. Long-term over-bending can break the hose and cause leaks. If the rubber fuel hose contains steel wires, over-bending can also damage these wires.
Second: Apply Pressure Gradually
When pressurizing the hose, do so gently. Sudden pressure spikes create heavy impact on the inner tube. Extremely high pressure from abrupt changes can even damage the hose.
Third: Handle with Care During Transport
Never drag rubber fuel pipes on the ground when moving them. This wears down the outer rubber layer, putting the reinforcement layer at risk of damage.
