Precautions for Using Hoses
1.Always use food-grade hoses within their recommended temperature and pressure ranges.
2.Hoses expand and contract with internal pressure. So cut them slightly longer than you need.
3.When applying pressure, open and close valves slowly. This avoids shock pressure.
4.Use hoses only above their minimum bending radius. Otherwise, the PU duct hose may break, and its pressure resistance will drop.
5.When handling powder or granules, hoses may wear more—depending on conditions. So make the bending radius as large as possible.
6.Don’t use PU hoses in an extremely bent state near metal parts.
7.Never let hoses touch or get close to open flames.
8.Don’t let vehicles or other heavy objects step on hoses.
For Fluids
1.Make sure the PU steel wire hose is compatible with the fluid it will transfer.
2.If using the hose with oil, powder, toxic chemicals, strong acids, or alkalis, consult the product supplier first.
Food-Grade PU Pipe: Assembly Tips
1.Choose a hose joint that matches the hose size.
2.When inserting a joint’s end into the hose, apply oil to both the hose and the joint end. Never 3.use fire to heat it. If it’s hard to insert, warm the hose with hot water first, then insert the joint.
4.Push the joint’s serrated end fully into the hose.
5.Don’t use one-push connectors—these can cause the hose to rupture.
6.Avoid over-tightening with wire. Instead, use a special sleeve or tie.
7.Never use damaged or rusted connectors.
Safety Precautions
1.Operators must wear safety gear: gloves, rubber boots, and goggles.
2.Keep the work area safe and tidy.
3.Check that all pipe joints are secure.
4.When not in use, release pressure from the pipe. Relieving pressure helps extend the pipe’s life.
