Chemical corrosion resistance
When transfer fluids, the hose should have excellent chemical property. While it includes temp and corrosion resistant as well as hard to aging. However, temp concerns the corrosion property. It will be lower as the temp rise. That’s to say the chemical may affect the hose at high temp. Although it will not at normal temp.

Peristaltic hose soak test
If you are not sure if the fluid fits hose, take a sample. Then record the weight, diameter and length. After that, sink it in a container with liquid for 48 hours. Then clean and dry it. Test the weight and length again and see the change. Meanwhile, check if the hose turns soft or brittle. If yes, that means the hose is affected by chemical. And the hose doesn’t fit the fluid. While if the hose never change color or crack, that means it fits the fluid.
