The common usages of high pressure hose
Test name: Combustion test of common PP spiral protection guard and flame retardant PP protection guard
The purpose of the experiment is to prove the excellent flame retardant performance of the flame retardant protective hose guard through the burning phenomenon of ordinary and flame retardant protective hose guard.
Experimental equipment: A common protection hose guard, a flame retardant protection hose guard, a fire lighter and a piece of cardboard
Experimental process:
1 – Place the ordinary protective hose guard above the cardboard, light one end of the ordinary protective hose guard with a fire lighter, and observe the phenomenon.
2 – Place the flame retardant protective hose guard above the cardboard, light one end of the flame retardant protective hose guard with a lighter, and observe the phenomenon.
3 – Repeat the above process, observe the phenomenon, avoid chance.
Experimental results:
1-Oordinary protective hose guard in the flame is quickly ignited, and the combustion process has molten drip, leave the flame after continuing to burn.
2- Flame retardant protective hose guard in the flame began to melt, itself did not burn, and no melt dripping, leaving the flame within 10 seconds after extinguishing.
Repeat the test. The phenomenon is the same as above. After the third ignition, a small amount of molten material drips down.
The experimental conclusion:
The flame retardant protective hose guard has better flame retardant effect than ordinary protective hose guard, and it will not burn after meeting open fire. UL94 V-0 grade is the highest standard for vertical combustion test of plastic materials. It is recommended to use UL94 V-0 grade flame retardant protective hose guard in mines and other places where construction conditions are strict, so as to reduce the occurrence of safety accidents and ensure the normal production plan.
